Consensus Conference 2 Attended By Over 100 Key Stakeholders

On April 4-5, 2017 in Bethesda, MD, TED hosted Consensus Conference 2 on the NIH Campus. CC2 was attended by over 100 stakeholders including TED investigators, representatives from the DoD and Government Steering Committee, FDA personnel from multiple divisions, and attendees from philanthropic organizations and private industry.

The conference began with opening remarks from Colonel Todd E. Rasmussen, Director of the U.S. Army Medical Research and Materiel Command's Combat Casualty Care Research Program, Dr. Walter Koroshetz, Director of National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, and Dr. Janet Woodcock, Director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research at FDA. Dr. Woodcock’s remarks were very timely as TED has just received the official Letter of Support from FDA CDER to further explore neuroimaging prognostic biomarkers that may be used to enrich TBI clinical trials.
