The TED Investigators hosted a Consensus Conference in early February 2015 at the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD bringing together leading minds in TBI research. Over 150 attendees from the research, regulatory, drug and device development, and philanthropic communities shared expertise and ideas to accelerate our common goal of discovery of more precise TBI diagnostic tools and safe and effective therapies.

The conference included a panel on FDA regulatory pathways with presentations given by high-ranking FDA representatives. This panel focused on FDA divisions’ roles in the regulatory readiness and DDT/MDDT qualification processes. Additional panels covered industry perspectives on regulatory processes and regulatory readiness case studies.
