Critical to achieving the objectives of the TED Initiative are our Expert Working Groups (EWGs). Led by TED PIs, and comprised of private and public partners, the EWGs form a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to advance the identification and validation across our four key endpoint domains: clinical outcome assessments (COAs), blood-based biomarkers, neuroimaging biomarkers, and emerging technologies.
Following preliminary landscape analyses incorporating reviews of the existing literature, community surveys, and expert consensus, the EWGs will help guide the selection process of candidates from each domain that may be validated as regulatory endpoints and/or for submission as FDA-qualified drug or device development tools.
At the first Consensus Conference held in early 2015, the following Expert Working Groups were formed:
